The beautiful and romantic night sky horizon at this plantation has gradually caught the public’s attention. In addition, many community units like “Art it up Simpang Renggam 艺起来新邦” and Simpang Shoot” also promoted photography activities and various community activities which help promote the community culture and tourism. Like what has happened in May last year, when a photography was held in this plantation which has attracted a lot of tourists and even school groups.
Camp under the galaxy of stars
Following the footsteps of shooting activities held annually, there will be a summer camp workshop that will be held on the coming 29th to 30th of April 2017 for photography enthusiasts who want to experience photography with a different touch.
In addition to galaxy photography, there will also be a lot of activities including the production of the potter, pineapple cultivation, BBQ picnic, camping under the bed of stars, firefly watching and a visit to corn plantation that will surely make every participant to be close to nature!
These activities will serve to gather community development fund as it also promotes the local tourism development!
Mind-blowing fresco murals and fresco-themed restaurant
Prevalent frescoes are also noticeable in Simpang Renggam as you can see fresco arts in the back alleys, agricultural buildings, and other places. Currently, the agricultural building on the pineapple plantation holds the largest murals, which have become famous local attractions.
In addition, there’s also this 70-year old kopitiam with a fresco theme, that lets customer enjoy a meal while walking along the memory lane.
