According to health officials, people, particularly senior residents, should check their MySejahtera app on a daily basis to ensure they do not miss their vaccination appointment.
Suraya Baharudin, a public relations officer of Perak Health Department, said there had been numerous examples of elderly people forgetting their appointment dates and then rushing to district vaccination centres in the hopes of receiving their vaccinations.
Suraya also stated that those who had missed their appointments or were having difficulty, may seek help at the vaccination center’s enquiry counter.
Suraya also encouraged the public to arrive vaccination centre between 15 to 30 minutes earlier for their vaccination appointments. Everyone should also always follow the standard operating procedure at vaccination centres.
