
Senior Education Minister Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin pointed out that, this decision is made after the National Pharmaceutical Regulatory Agency’s (NPRA) approved the use of Pfizer vaccine Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine for children aged 12 and above. The COVID-19 Immunisation Task Force (CITF) has also agreed to give priority for students participating in public examinations to get vaccinated.
Datuk Dr Radzi Jidin also stated in a Facebook post yesterday that more than 90,000 teachers across the country have received the first dose of vaccination currently.
The Science, Technology and Innovation Minister also revealed that according to the Ministry of Health, there are 357,000 Form Five students and 47,000 Form Five teachers nationwide.
