According to reliable sources, Danga City Mall in downtown Johor Bahru will be closed for business this year. We also contacted the management by telephone and confirmed that the mall will be temporarily closed in July 2018 for maintenance and renovation.

Related businesses also pointed out that Danga City Mall’s merchants have also been notified and have transferred to other places. The exact development of the malle is subject to further confirmation by the government.
IT merchants will transfer to Plaza Pelangi
Some of the mall’s IT technology and other businesses will be relocated to three-storey and four-storey shops in Plaza Pelangi, another newly-renovated mall in Johor Bahru.
