1. One of the World’s Largest Water Parks
The 21-acre Desaru Coast Adventure Water Park, which has the capacity to accommodate over 12,000 visitors, has a total of 5 splash-tacular zones to explore, but when it comes to size, it is said to be one of the largest water parks in the world. The 5 areas are Penawar Falls, Penawar River, Shipwreck Reef, Tidal Wave and Kids Ahoy. The waterpark offers something for everyone regardless of the age and size. 2. Home of the Largest Wave Pool in Southeast Asia
The Tidal Wave Beach is the largest wave pool in Southeast Asia and it is also the signature water feature of the Desaru Coast Adventure Water Park! Tidal Wave Beach’s artificial wave height can reach up to 4 meters in the morning, just perfect for surfers. Small, safer waves run throughout the day for the fun and excitement of everyone.
Tidal Wave Beach’s beach line stretches for 170 meters and visitors can relax on the beach and enjoy the the wave pool views. Visitors staying at Hard Rock Hotel can also have direct access to the water park through a dedicated entrance.
3. Owns the First Water Roller Coaster in the Region.
The area’s first water roller coaster (Kraken’s Revenge), is located in the Shipwreck Reef themed area. This new feature has a combination of roller coaster and splashing flume ride that takes thrill-seekers up 30 meters above the ground in rolling “boats” before swooping and spinning through two full 360 degree loops. So, if you love thrill and excitement, this feature is really shouldn’t be missed in Desaru Coast! Kraken’s Revenge will be a signature facility differentiating Desaru Coast Adventure Waterpark as the first of its kind in Malaysia and in Southeast Asia.
4. More Than 20 Unique Wet and Dry Rides
Desaru Water Adventure Park also has more than 20 kinds of one-of-a-kind water and land rides, such as the magnificent waterfalls, crazy torrent, super tornado, rapid whirlpool, storm and other facilities. Parents who come with their children can also go to Kids Ahoy Children’s Playground. The area is divided into 3 play areas according to children’s age, and there are 13 slides designed specifically for children for them to explore and play in a safe environment! *By Air
– From Kuala Lumpur, take a flight to Shin-Shan Senai International Airport (about 45 minutes) and then to the Desaru Coast (about 45 minutes)
