But, did you know that food trucks date back in the late 17th century? Well, yes. Mobile dining carts start appearing in many of the larger cities on the east coast.

These days, Tebrau is one of the places in Johor where you can get to enjoy mouthwatering foods served at mobile cars.

On weekdays, this food truck park in Tebrau has 9-12 dining cars, but once the weekend comes, foodies can get to enjoy diverse food from up to 20 mobile dining cars, including Western snacks (like burgers), Malay cuisine, milk tea, and even special coffee.

#Kalori Truck by Mak Leha

This dining car specializes in serving lontong goreng and beef chili nachos. Their nachos is made with crispy tortilla covered with cheese sauce and minced beef, and can be enjoyed at only RM10!

 

#Dedaun Food Truck

Every food served at this dining car is incredibly good, however, if it’s your first time dining here, don’t miss to try their Malay seafood fried rice with special sambal sauce and the teppanyaki fish.

When it comes to Pisang Goreng, this mobile cart is probably the most popular in Johor Bahru. One of the reasons is due to the fact that you can not only enjoy one flavor of pisang goreng but 9 different tastes including corn flakes chocolate, peanut chocolate, chocolate cheese and so on…

 

#Chomp Chomp Pasta Foodtruck

Looking for cheap Western food? Well, Chomp Chomp Pasta Foodtruck got you covered! Aside from a variety of pasta choices (including prawns garlic pasta, beef red sauce pasta, and salted egg pasta) there is also other food to try like the special beef burger and more.
