1. Johor Bahru

Johor Bahru is the largest city in the state booming with so many attractions like towering shopping malls such as City Square, Komtar, JBCC, Paradigm Mall, JPO, Mid Valley Southkey and it’s fair share of local culture too like the famous Arulmigu Sri Rajakaliamman Glass Temple, The Old Temple of Johor Bahru, and The Grand Palace! If those are not enough for you to marvel around, check out its five theme parks including Legoland Malaysia, the first Lego theme park in Asia!

2. Kulai

Just 30 minutes away from Johor Bahru downtown, you can find Kulai, also dubbed as the small Hakka! Wondering why small Hakka? It was during the 1920s when many Hakka people moved in this place and soon, it became part of the town’s development in terms of its cuisines and many more! Kulai aside from it is a good place to find Hakka dishes, you can also find JPO and Johor International Airport here!

3. Batu Pahat

Batu Pahat is the second-largest city in Johor where you can find most of Johor’s famous temples and eateries! When it comes to food tripping, Batu Pahat is always a choice for many for its diverse cuisines!

4. Kluang

Kluang is located at the heart of Johor! Whenever we will talk about Kluang, its 1911 station railway will surely come to mind! Imagine that after all this year, this station is still fully functional! Savor its nostalgia by having a plate of the traditional coffee and toast breakfast!

5. Kota Tinggi

7. Mersing

Mersing is a coastal town in Southeast Malaysia. It is the place for relaxation and feasting over bountiful and affordable fresh seafood! Sick and tired of the busy city? Just visit its humble fishing village to calm your mind and de-stress!

8. Muar

Walk in the past by visiting Muar! This place has always been known as the cultural city of Johor where you can find century-old buildings and significant structures! IF your feet got tired from walking, sit down on their local eateries where you can enjoy its famous native cuisines like the satay and braised duck!

9. Pontian

Pontian is located in Southwest Johor. This was originally a place for sailors as a stopover and now, it is still a stopover place for tourists wanting some relaxation from work! The place is relatively surrounded by water and divided into two the Pontian Besar and Pontian Kecil. If you love pineapples, then, you’re in the right place because Pontian is the largest producer of pineapples!

10. Segamat

Segamat, aside from being famous for its luscious Durian, this small town houses a series of recreational and entertainment facilities for everyone such as shopping malls, hotels, golf resorts, agricultural tourism as well as handicraft centers for everyone to see!
