Health director-general Tan Sri Dr Noor Hisham Abdullah that only Covid-19 patients who meet specific conditions can undergo home quarantine and treatment measures. The Ministry of Health will determine whether the patient is suitable for home quarantine and treatment based on 3 evaluation criteria.
【 Evaluation Criteria 】
- Adult
- Patients who are under 60 years of age and belong to the first or second stage (asymptomatic or mildly symptomatic)
- Elderly patients over 60 must be sent to a hospital or isolation center for isolation and treatment
2. Children
As long as there are no comorbidities and there is a suitable guardian
3. Appropriate living environment
- Requires telephone equipment
- Live in a separate room, preferably with a separate toilet
-No high-risk cohabitants - Have a suitable guardian at home
