【 KWSP Launches e-Payroll System. Helps to Simplify Employers’ Statutory Obligations Digitally! 】

The KWSP e-Payroll system was officially launched recently, which helps simplify the provident fund payment procedures. This system is an upgrade to the i-Akaun (employer) site that uses digital technology to assist companies meet their statutory responsibilities, such as EPF contributions.

Finance Minister Tengku Zafrul Aziz said that the e-Payroll system launched by KWSP plays an important role in promoting the business community, especially small and medium enterprises, and assisting employers in optimizing digital management records.

The e-Payroll system is an enhanced version of i-Akaun, which helps employers manage and maintain salary records digitally. This will also help streamline payment transactions to EPF and help improve process efficiency by reducing the time required to manage activities related to legal obligations.

Tengku Zafrul Aziz also said that the e-Payroll system, which is suitable for medium-sized industrial enterprises and general entrepreneurs, can help the industry save costs and human resources, allowing them to focus on promoting marketing and opening up more businesses.

In addition, KWSP stated that the e-Payroll system was widely welcomed by 600 small and medium-sized enterprises during the test phase after the soft-launch.
