Desaru Coast Adventure Waterpark, located within the premium integrated destination resort of Desaru Coast in Johor will launch its soft opening on 19 July 2018. The waterpark features a theme of traditional Malay fishing village and has one of the largest wave pool in Southeast Asia. The good news is tickets are available at promotional prices during the soft opening period.
Three types of fares to enjoy awesome facilities in a day!
At the moment, the promotional tickets are only limited to one-day experience and it is divided into three types of fares.
Visitors can either purchase tickets at the ticket office in person or buy tickets online.

1. One of the largest waterparks in the world
Featuring over 21 acres of land, this waterpark can accommodate more than 12,000 visitors, thus making it one of the biggest waterparks in the world. In addition, the Desaru Coast Adventure Waterpark has a total of five thematic areas namely, Penawar Falls, Penawar River, Shipwreck Reef, Tidal Wave, and Kids Ahoy.
2. Has the largest wave pool in Southeast Asia
Next to being one of the biggest waterparks in the world, Desaru Coast Adventure Waterpark is also famed for its wave pool that spreads over nearly three acres and is able to create waves up to four meters high. Known as the Tidal Wave Beach, it is perfect for surfers to dive under the waves yet safe enough for kids to paddle near the shoreline. In addition, visitors can also reach the Hard Rock Hotel from the waterpark via a special access road.
3. Has the first water coaster in the region
Another “first” that this waterpark has is having the first water coaster in the region! The Kraken’s Revenge, which is located in the Shipwreck Reef theme area, combines the thrill of riding in a roller coaster with the splashing water from the water equipment. Here, guests can have exhilarating feels as the coaster climbs at an altitude of 30 meters, drops quickly then follows one full 360-degree horizontal loop.
4. Has more than 20 wet and dry rides, slides, and attractions
More so, the Desaru Coast Adventure Waterpark features more than 20 wet and dry rides, slides, and attractions.
The is also a dedicated children’s zone – Kids Ahoy – with three separate age-appropriate play areas filled with water play equipment with a combination of 13 different water slides designed for the waterpark’s younger guests! Li’l Warrior’s Hideout, Scallywags, and Starfish Splash will be the fun-time favourite for toddlers, young children, tweens and early teens, and for parents too.
