The yearly anticipated Orchard Road Christmas lights will be lit on November 12, 2016!
Every November and December, Singapore, Orchard Road is flocked by many people just to witness the mesmerizing Christmas lights. This place has a total length of nearly three kilometers and 12-meter-high arch with colorful shapes and stars.
Lighting ceremony will be held from afternoon to evening, thus, temporary road closures is implemented
President Tony Tan will be hosting this year’s Orchard Road Christmas lighting ceremony which will be held on November 12 at around 3:00pm to 11:00pm. Scotts Road and Telford Road (Bideford Road) road section will be temporarily closed.
Orchard Road Business Association hopes that this year’s event will sort last year’s which attracted 5.8 million visitors.
