Skydiving courses and types
One of the most important thing that you need to know with regards to skydiving is to learn how to use the parachute. The basic parachuting course is divided into two types: AFF (Accelerated Free Fall) and Static Line. These two has a big difference to one another which will be taught on training courses.
Static Line
Static Line is set 3,000 feet from above the ground, wherein the participants will jump out of the cabin after 3 seconds and parachute will open automatically. The coach will give timely guidance by communicating with the students via walkie-talkie to ensure them about proper control of the parachute. The entire process in class has almost no free-fall therefore, the coach will focus jon controlling the flight parachute training.
AFF
Compared to Static Line, AFF is set in a higher place which range from 500 to 8,000 feet or 10K altitudes. Students will experience ten seconds of freefall once they jump out of the cabin. It is said that freefall parachuting is the most exciting part in the process for you can freely do tumbling or flying with wide arms open! Parachute must be opened at a certain heights. The whole process of this activity is accompanied by coaches that includes AFF course like basic control of umbrella, flight safety precautions, emergency response and the likes.
Select either AFF or Static Line depending on your personal preference. When it comes to price, Static Line is cheaper.
