Experience being a prisoner for a day!
Sook Station is a prison-themed hotel in Bangkok, Thailand. Upon arriving the guests must check-in by having a “criminal record” oopsie! This “criminal record” is just a process where you will dress up like a prisoner wearing black and white suit, then will have a mugshot while holding a placard with your written name, room number and date.
The hotel design is an imitation of public prisons
Fret not, you’re not in a real prison cell, this is just Shook Station Hotel! From the lobby, up to its rooms and toilets, it will make you believe and deceived with its eerie design.
Cheap but creative and definitely worth it!
Even so it looks more of a prison bar, it offers luxurious facilities too! The hotel has a recreation area, activity area, and outdoor massage pool. Rest assured that you still can communicate with the outside world because the hotel has a free Wi-Fi! Sook Station is very economical if you’re a geek travelling on a tight budget. The room ranges from 790 baht to around 1630 baht (that’s only about RM101 to RM210!). On your next trip to Bangkok, do not hesitate to experience being a prisoner of endless holiday at Sook Station!
