Pantai Air Papan is a 2-kilometer long sandy beach with many ephedras and coconut trees along the coast. The sea features a crystal clear water where residents of Mersing can swim and/or relax.

Obvious for its name, Nasi Dagang Mak Yah is one of the best spots to have a taste of Nasi Dagang, which is a traditional specialty of Malaysians. It is a molded rice wrapped in banana leaves served with fish and curry sauce.

If you’re going to visit Mersing, Loke Tien Yuen is one of the restaurants that you should definitely not miss! Included in the must-ordered here is the salted egg squid, which has a superb taste.

Take note that you need to call for a reservation first before you go to the restaurant.
