Tracing these dishes, let’s go back in the year 1920s. During this year, a large number of Hakka people migrated here and developed their own community in Kelapa Sawit also known as the “Hakka Village”. Today, let’s have a food trip the Hakka people way!

This is one of the most traditional dishes in the culture of Hakka. It is made from tea, sesame, mint, and herbs combined together with hot water and mixed with rice and different toppings such as meat and vegetables! It is very aromatic and nutritious!

Small but terrible! This stall is not far from Gunung Pulai, though it may seem small their tea is bursting with strong aroma attracting many of the street’s passerby! They also have stuffed tofu and other fried dishes.
