1. Hermo Malaysia

Most women may have probably this famous premier online cosmetics retailer in Malaysia, but perhaps, only few or fewer are aware that Hermo Malaysia is actually from Johor—and not in Malaysia, like what it name tells.

This shopping network that collects variety of cosmetics and skin care products from home and abroad. In addition, in February last year (2016), the owner of Hermo Malaysia was even included in the list of 30-year-old entrepreneur for the Asian version of Forbes magazine.

2. Farm Fresh Milk Malaysia

A best-selling milk brand that supplies fresh dairy milk from their local farm in Johor and Pahang to your doorstep. This brand of fresh milk will let you taste a pure milk extract with no added sugar, preservatives and pigments, just the natural milk flavor.

3. Hup Seng Cream Crackers

Thanks there’s Hup Seng Cream Crackers, biscuit brand that originated in the town of Johor and has been extended to overseas—Asia, Europe, North America and Africa.

Parents must be very much familiar with this brand of baby products like baby clothes, pacifiers, bottles, diapers and more: FIFFY. And it’s no wonder at all, as FIFFY has been operating for 40 years. But it is surprising to know that it has originated in Johor Bahru before it had reached Sri Lanka industrial area, with more than 700 employees. Presently, FIFFY has 600 distribution points in all major supermarkets and shopping malls, and has 18 FIFFY store branches overseas including Singapore, Brunei, Cambodia and hopefully to other Southeast Asian countries.

5. Alicafe

This coffee bean powder brand has been established in the late 90’s in Johor Bahru, before it reached and had branches in Kuala Lumpur. Alicafe offers a series of herbal coffee, Tongkat Ali and Kacip Fatimah!
