30-40 meteors per hour can be seen
The Geminid Meteor Shower is considered as one of the most stable and active meteor showers every year. This year, the phenomena will reach its maximum rate of activity from 8:30 pm on 14 December to the early morning of the 15th! With clear skies, everyone can expect to see around 30 to 40 meteors per hour.
In addition, the Ursids Meteor Shower is about to light the night sky from 17 to 26 December, in which the peak will be on the 22nd.
