BREAKING NEWS: Majlis Bandaraya Johor Bahru (MBJB) has officially announced the latest operation hours of businesses across Johor Bahru starting today, April 15 to April 28. Businesses prohibited to operate during this period includes barber shops, eyewear stores, mobile hawkers, night markets, and many more. Other businesses allowed to operate must operate within the specified time only.
1. Kidney dialysis center: business hours as usual
2. Private clinic, dental clinic, veterinary hospital: 8 AM – 8 PM
3. Wholesale Market: 4 AM – 10 AM
4. Private Market: 7 AM – 1 PM
5. Retail Store: 8 AM – 8 PM
6. Public, private and agricultural stores: 7 AM – 1 PM
7. Gas station & grocery stores: 8 AM – 8 PM
8. Cash machines: 8 AM – 8 PM
9. Merchants selling agricultural fertilizers, pet supplies, industrial & agricultural machinery parts: 8 AM – 4 PM (Monday & Thursday)
10. Car repair shops & hardware stores: Are not allowed to operate unless their service and assistance required.
11. Aviation industry, machinery industry, parts industry, scientific professional technology and research, social health service, hardware store, electrical and electronic product store, laundry service: 8 AM – 8 PM (only MITI approved businesses)
12. Other businesses allowed to open: 8 AM – 8 PM
