Ferry service is still in the negotiation stage.

The county’s governor said that the ferry service will be privatized and that private companies will purchase ferries to provide these services, and there will be at least two ferries to be put up. The ferry service and the central government are still in discussions with the Singapore government.

Brainstorming to promote progressive tourism.

Through the development of the Blueprint for the new 10-year tourism trip through Pontian, I hope to make the government more systematic in implementing each infrastructure. In addition, the local tourism industry and non-government organizations have 3 months to offer suggestions to the Pontian. Together, they can pool their knowledge to promote the tourism industry.

In the near future, the local government will also set up workshops, inviting tour operators, non-governmental organizations, universities and other units to discuss how to implement the peak tourism industry. According to statistics, 500,000 passengers visited Pontian last year.
