According to the Minister of Health Datuk Seri Dr Adham Baba, the Special Committee on Covid-19 Vaccine Supply Access Guarantee (JKJAV) allowed the registration holders of COVID-19 vaccine products to directly supply vaccines to government-related companies, private companies and the state government.
He said that under the National Immunization Plan, in addition to the existing first to third stages, there is also a fourth stage that can be started at any time to control the pandemic.
At present, Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Johor, Penang and Sarawak are the states with high rates of transmission of coronary disease in the country. Therefore, JKJAV decided to vaccinate the public through the Industrial Covid-19 Vaccination Center and the Covid-19 Vaccination Center of the state with a high transmission rate of the Coronavirus.
However, applications from government-related companies, private companies and state governments must first be approved by JKJAV. It is reported that the government has received applications for a total of about 7 million doses of vaccines from the state government, government-related companies, and private companies in the more severely affected areas. This will undoubtedly speed up the national vaccination!
